The Origin Story
I started on a Commodore 64 at age 5. By 8, I had my whole career planned: become a doctor just to put "MD Hansen MD" on my office door. The medical dream didn't stand a chance against my passion for coding, but the desire to fix things never left. Health Tech gave me the best of both worlds - solving problems at scale rather than one patient at a time.

The Day Job
I lead platform engineering and developer experience at Halaxy. What was originally a plan to stay for 6 months turned into 12+ years of building a global platform serving practitioners in 150+ countries. I stayed because the work compounds: every feature we ship gives practitioners time back to focus on care.

The Philosophy
My approach is simple: Make the right way the easy way.
I design environments where developers win by default - not through heroic effort, but because the system sets them up to succeed. When there is persistent friction, I debug the system, not the people.
